Menorca is a special island in the Mediterranean Sea. From decades ago there are a lot of people who visit us to know the marvels which are hidden in it. There are maps, books and guides which describe detailed common places to visit. However, the intention of this work is to draw people up to those less popular places in the Island, because of their natural, historic, cultural, ethnologic or magic value.

    Each place is follow not only for pictures but a short approximation to the history, natural values and even the myths and magic aspects which relate these places with the way to be of people from Menorca and their origins.

    This way,  "" wants to offer an unusual product about the information from the island. Basically this work wants to be an instrument to know closely the most hidden, beautiful and wild places.

 
    Conscious that the tourism is evolved, we think that the local promotion and the evolve of a region needs to be relate to another tourism and cultural conception. This way, Menorca has a long way. The tourism is each time more interested in to know natural places, history, culture, gastronomy, Menorcan crafts, without damage the environment.

    This work wants to be a model to be follow, if we talk about Menorca, to promote actions to the future, to permit sustainable growth between tourism and nature that is needed to be a Biosphere reserve.
