You have to take the road from Mao to Fornells. 8 kilometres from Mao, along that road, there is a turn-off on your right. It´s well indicated. After 6 kilometres along this turn-off you will arrive to Faro de Favaritx (a lighthouse), built in 1922. It´s easy to get the end of this road by car.

Besides visiting the impressive landscape, if you take the path to Son Camamil.la, you will arrive to two beaches which are very beautiful: Cala´n Presili and Cala Tortuga. These can be described as two long and open inlets to the sea, from where you will find the mystery between the lighthouse and the moon.

The landscape of Favaritx represents the end of the world, and with justice it is defined as one of the most supernatural places in Menorca.

This lonely cape, whipped by the Tramontana storms, is one of the most ancient arqueological places in Menorca. Here you can find fossils from the first inhabitants in Menorca: crustaceans and small sea animals dating back from thousands years.

In this place you can feel something special, which increases in the evenings when there is full moon, when that fossils shine with silver light among the rocks. There isn´t another place like this in Menorca. This place will help you to increase your artistic abilities.

At the end of the road to the lighthouse, there is a big esplanade full of little puddles. It´s known by the tradition that in the evenings when there is full moon, if you walk in that magical puddles, you will receive the good effects from the satellite and from the sea water: strength, energy and fertility.
